Monotypes & Monoprints
Monoprints are challenging because they are so immediate. You get one chance to get a worthwhile image. If it's not what you want, you start over. Printmaking inks are manipulated on plexiglass and run through a printing press onto printing paper. I often augment a monotype with a line here or there which for purist make it a monotype since it's been changed after printing.
